  • 2 cups of coarse bulgur
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 200g lamb cubes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 green peppers
  • 3 cups of water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
How is it done?
  1. Take olive oil in a large pot and heat it over medium heat. Add the meat to the pot and sauté until it takes on color.
  2. Once the meat has browned, add diced onions and red peppers to the pot and sauté until softened.
  3. Add finely chopped peppers to the pot and sauté.
  4. Finally, add the spices, Ekin bulgur, and hot water to the pot and mix.
  5. Cover the pot and cook the bulgur over low heat until the water is absorbed.
  6. If necessary, you can add a little hot water gradually.
  7. Place a few pieces of butter on top of the pilaf after the bulgur has absorbed the water and let it rest.
  8. Stir the pilaf from bottom to top once it has rested and serve hot.
