Chocolate Balls with Beans from Ekin

  • 1 cup of Ekin dry beans
  • 4-5 pieces of seedless dates
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  • ½ cup walnuts or hazelnuts
  • 160 g dark chocolate
  • 160 g milk chocolate
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream
  • Ground peanuts
How is it done?
  1. Remove the seeds of the dates and soak them in hot water for 10 minutes.
  2. Mash the previously-boiled Ekin beans with a blender.
  3. Add the dates and cocoa.
  4. Add chopped walnuts or hazelnuts, and knead them until they are smooth.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  6. Add butter and milk.
  7. Coat the prepared and rolled bean balls in the melted chocolate.
  8. Sprinkle with ground pistachios.
  9. Chill it in the refrigerator for another 10 minutes before serving it.
