  • 1 cup of coarse bulgur
  • 1 bunch of cabbage
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 medium-sized green peppers
  • 1 medium-sized Mexican pepper
  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground red pepper
How is it done?
  1. Wash the cabbage leaves thoroughly. After drying them with a cloth, finely chop them.
  2. Boil water in a deep pot and boil the chopped cabbage leaves for 15 minutes.
  3. Wash the Ekin coarse bulgur thoroughly and add it on top of the boiling cabbage leaves along with the vermicelli.
  4. Cook it for another 15 minutes on medium heat. Drain the mixture with a colander as it thickens. In the meantime, heat the olive oil in a pan.
  5. Sauté the finely-chopped onions and garlic until they slightly get brown in the pan.
  6. Add the cleaned and finely-chopped peppers.
